I’ve known Andreas for many years and have had many positive experiences with him. In the ’90s, I had a dog, Nightshadow Geronimo v. Mize, that I had put the BH and BST on, but I knew he would be a problem to get the obedience needed for Schutzhund titles.
This was a dog I’d sold as a puppy and gotten back at 15 months, so he had some issues to deal with. Andreas trained and titled him to his SchH1, 2, and 3, with good scores.
I’ve also participated in several seminar/workshops presented by Andreas for the Victoria Rottweiler Club. Andreas is great at explaining basic steps to novice handlers, and is excellent in applying his training techniques to a variety of dogs. In August 2007, I took my bitch, Nightshadow Old Black Magic, to Andreas’s kennel to breed to his stud dog, Kliff vom Schwaiger Rathaus. I arrived too early in Magic’s heat for the breeding, so had to stay for an entire week in order to get her bred. Andreas and Linda were kind enough to let me stay in their guest house during this time.
The resulting litter was my “Z” litter, and is one of the nicest litters I’ve ever had. All the pups have great temperaments and several are in working homes. I kept two females from this litter and in their first show, the 2008 SW Regional Sieger Show, they placed first and second in the 4 to 6 month puppy class under ADRK Judge Anton Spindler.
