I have been training, showing and breeding Irish Wolfhounds both in breed and obedience for nearly 20 years. My youngest daughter, for various reasons, became interested in purchasing a dog with which to do more than level one obedience. She decided upon a German Shepherd. After some searching we found Andreas and Linda. We consistently got prompt amiable attention and made a trip (quite a trip) to visit the dogs. Upon arriving we were met by young puppies playing on the front steps with Linda, then ready to return to the house. It was evident that all the dogs had been home raised and socialized. Andreas showed us many young dogs. It was so refreshing to find a man who was so thoroughly knowledgeable about every detail of every dog.
Andreas was also quite honest and forthright in pointing out what could be perceived positives and negatives of every dog in order to make the correct match of dog to owner. He, nor Linda, were ever pushy or demanding about the purchase of a puppy. We asked a LOT of questions. My daughter finally made the decision to take a four month old bitch, who is quite pretty. When doing the paper work for the purchase we learned of a feature of kennel management I have never encountered. This kennel provides individual training help including videos, personal feedback, an owner forum, and the option to bring your dog back for training help or to submit a video for critique. I have never seen such commitment to assuring the satisfaction of the new owner and of course the best possible home for these dogs.
Thank you, Andreas and Linda
Sincerely, Joyce Gifford
