Dear Andreas. I want to thank you again for the incredible job you did training Lucy and Kaylah. We’ve had them home for a week now and the difference in their attitude and behavior is significant. I’d like to share two remarkable “success stories” with you; the first of which occurred on Tuesday during my weekly poker game. Every week I host between 7-9 players for three hours of loud fun. Previously, both dogs would bark at my guests, beg for food and generally be a handful which routinely interrupted our games. This Tuesday, prior to my guests arriving, I gave both dogs the “place” command for them to stay in their beds – they did not bark or move for three hours. All of my friends were shocked at the difference in their behavior.
The second story happened yesterday and I have not had the opportunity to share it with you. During our evening walk through the neighborhood, I had both dogs off leash and heeling. This in itself is a success story; however, after removing both leashes, a cat ran onto the sidewalk in front of us and into the road. I quickly gave both dogs the “sit” command and watched both of them stop, sit and stay until I released them. It is very comforting to know that I can command both dogs regardless of the situation we are in. The confidence that comes with knowing they will respond every time has already allowed us to put them in situations we previously could not.
Overall, they both appear to be calmer, happier and more confident dogs. Their drive to please us is incredible. Again, thank you for all of your work – it was worth every penny and more. In the future, if you ever have a client in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area who would like to see the result of your training, please do not hesitate to have them contact me. Thank you again,
Jake Ertle
