My name is Chris and I have a 9 month old male Rottweiler. At about 7 months old he began to show signs of aggression toward strangers, kids he did not know and just about anything with wheels (bikes, skateboards, etc.) There was even an incident at a park with a 12 year old kid on a skateboard that he had nipped on the hand. Granted he did not fully bite the kid, but it was enough for Animal Control to be called and he placed under house quarantine for 10 days.
At this time, my wife and I began to wonder about what to do. We checked the Internet for trainers, called and so forth. We decided to use Andreas Mueller from Zauberberg K9. From the time I talked to him on the phone, I could tell his knowledge for the dogs, rottweilers in particular. Once we arranged a meeting at his facility in McNeal, Az. I began to feel much better. I dropped off Natas on a Saturday morning and spent about 3-4 hours talking to Andreas. The cool thing I got from him was he was talking to us like we were not there for dog training. It was laid back. I kinda got the feeling that he was feeling my wife and I out. What kind of people we were. And that I respected tremendously, because not all people should own a rottweiler unless you are truly committed.
Once we left his facility, my wife and I had a sense of relief that Natas was in good hands that Andres would help us. Over the next two weeks I would talk with Andreas from time to time to get updates. I greatly appreciated that from him, because most trainers would not do that. Andreas even posted a video on his website of a training exercise of Natas for us to see, and everyone else who visited the site. Which is very good. When the two week training was over, I went back to his facility for Andreas to show me how to work with my dog. I spent about 2-3 hours with him learning the commands and working with Natas. Let me tell you I was impressed! The next day on a Sunday, Andreas brought Natas into Tombstone for the final test. Now Tombstone is crawling with tourists and dogs walking around. A perfect place for strangers to a dog. But, after walking him through the town I was even more impressed. Natas had no issues with no one. He was even letting people come up and pet him. A huge improvement. I have been working with Natas at home now multiple times a day and he just gets better and better. We even took him to the local dog park and had no issues at all. I have nothing but thanks for what Andreas did for us.I would recommend him greatly. The overall experience was greatly satisfying and I could not ask for a better dog now.
Andreas, thank you for your hard work and determination, I will not forget you man!
