More than three decades ago we started breeding German Shepherds. It was in Germany, under the name of “von der Quadriga” that our first litter from the strongest working lines was produced. Later, moving to the USA, we created the brand of “Zauberberg Kennels” , which is the German word for “Magic Mountain”.
Ever since , our German Shepherds have been shown in conformation as well as working dog competitions very successfully! Some of our progeny have been trained very successfully as service assistance dogs, or even as Police K9 dogs for patrol and narcotic- or explosive detection. I, myself, have been lucky enough to compete at Schutzhund Sports at high levels with dogs from our own Breeding Program.
Our German Shepherd Dogs here in Arizona are selected individually to fit their new homes as family protectors, companions, competition dogs, police K9 or service dogs. You will find the sable (gray), the solid black as well as the black and red type in our offspring.
Gelrman Shepherds from Zauberberg have proven to have the capabilities that Rittmeister von Stephanitz, the founder of the German Shepherd Breed, had in mind over 100 years ago.
