Zachariah, call name BOAZ, has been selected to be Sandra’s new puppy, after she lost her dog in an accident. Boaz is a very dark sable male puppy with a strong determined temperament. He is currently in training through Puppy Kindergarten. Very energetic and eager to interact with people, places and other dogs.
Watch his progression in the video clips below. Boaz will remain with Zauberberg Kennels until he is trained and training has been transitioned into the hands of the new owners.

This is the first “Doggy bed” session with Zachariah after he has been conditioned to the clicker.
The clicker as the marker clearly conveys to the puppy what I want from him at this time. Creating the behavior before it is called a name is essential. The name of the behavior will be put to the behavior after the behavior is established close to what it should be at a more final stage.
Zachariah shows intense thinking during the session. He really tries to figure out what to do. Also noticeable that he has a great understanding of the clicker. He perks up every time he hears the sound!
