We are please to announce the competitive dogs at Zauberberg have all been certified by the verein fur deutsche schaferhunde (SV) Jack vom Zauberberg A-Fast Normal Jago vom Zauberberg - A-Normal
It is worth mentioning that in the United States of America no such organization exists that regulates the breed of the German Shepherd as seriously as the SV. This is why we ship the x-rays overseas. In addition, there are not but a handful of German Shepherd breeders that hold there standard here in the USA. We are pleased and grateful to the regulations of the SV. Although, hips ratings are a great indicator of breed suitability there are many great dogs that do not have such rating and should not be a disqualifier for workability. A dog without such great evaluation as this, may in fact be a better companion or working dog, however it would not be breed suitable at Zauberberg K9.
