Zauberberg German Shepherds trained as Search and Rescue Dog !
Daniel L. , who has purchased multiple dogs from Zauberberg Kennels just sent us this note:
Tragus vom Zauberberg, also known as Jackson. This is the pup from Nat vom Leipheimer Moor I purchased in 2010. Many very experienced handlers think this is one of the best finds they’ve ever heard of, and he’s one of the best search dogs we’ve fielded (see links below). He was working with an inexperienced handler on this search as I was down in South Carolina at the time. Many are surprised that a GSD will work so well with more than one handler.
I keep thinking of my next search dog and want to continue his line. I’m considering offering stud services, but have never bred a dog. I understand getting his hips, elbows and eyes certified, but the process beyond that is unknown to me. Can you give me a rundown on the process? Any tips?
